Getting agreements signed should be simple. That means making it easier for people to complete documents wherever they are, while giving businesses and developers the tools they need to keep work moving.

From a redesigned mobile signing experience to new capabilities for Salesforce, global teams, and developers, there’s more you can do with Dropbox Sign. Here’s what’s new.

A better mobile signing experience

Signing documents on a phone should be straightforward. Dropbox Sign’s redesigned mobile web experience makes documents easier to read, navigate, and complete. Signers now have two ways to move through an agreement:

Form View: Focus on what needs to be completed
‍
‍
Form View gives signers a focused, form-like view of the fields they need to complete, making it easier to move through an agreement without pinching, zooming, or searching for fields. Signers can switch between Form View and the full document at any time.

Drawer Flow: Work directly in the document
‍
‍
For signers who prefer to see the full document as they work, Drawer Flow provides an app-like experience directly in the mobile browser. Mobile-friendly controls make it easy to move between fields and add information without repeatedly pinching or zooming.

The redesigned mobile experience also improves readability, contrast, and navigation, with responsive controls that adapt across supported screen sizes and locales. Learn more.

Clearer signatures on completed documents

Dropbox Sign now displays a signature frame as soon as a signature is added to a document. The frame appears across signature types and includes standardized “Digitally signed by:” wording, making eSignatures easier to identify and signed documents clearer and more professional for everyone reviewing them. Learn more.

Send signature requests by SMS with Dropbox Sign for Salesforce

The Dropbox Sign integration for Salesforce now supports sending signature requests by SMS and SMS-based signer verification. This gives sales teams another way to deliver signature requests and verify signers directly from their Salesforce workflows. Learn more.

Manage data residency across global teams

As organizations grow globally, data residency requirements become more complex. Dropbox Sign now supports multiple document data residency locations under a single subscription. Organizations can configure different data residency settings for individual teams without managing multiple subscriptions or creating separate organization-level accounts.

This gives organizations more flexibility to manage where documents are stored across teams while simplifying administration as they scale. Learn more.

Find answers with AI-powered API documentation

Dropbox Sign API documentation now includes AI-powered search, giving developers a new way to find technical information. Ask questions in natural language and receive answers with citations to Dropbox Sign documentation and SDK code.

Use it to troubleshoot issues and get guidance without manually searching across documentation. For example, ask why a signature request failed or how to take an integration to production, then explore the cited sources for additional context. Try it now.

Looking ahead

We’re continuing to invest in making agreement workflows simpler, including reducing the effort required to prepare documents for signature. We look forward to sharing more as new capabilities become available!
